Credit Card Complaint

 If you have a problem with a credit card company you can file a credit card complaint using the resources below.  Resources are also provided to file a complaint of mortgage fraud and insurance fraud in the State of Florida.

•     Federal Resources – ConsumerFinance.gov
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau – file complaints about credit card issues and other consumer finance related complaints.  You can call 1-855-411-2372 or visit their website at: www.consumerfinance.gov.  

•     State Resources  Florida Division of Consumer Services Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.  To file a complaint regarding credit cards and many other businesses and services including:  Business Opportunities, Motor Vehicle Repair Shops, Charitable Organizations, Florida Do Not Call, Dance Studios, Pawnshops, Health Studios, Sellers of Travel, Intrastate Movers, Game Promotions, Telemarketing, and Professional Surveyors and Mappers..  You can call 1-800-435-7352 or visit http://www.800helpfla.com/  

•     Florida Mortgage Fraud - If a homeowner believes he or she has been taken advantage of by a disreputable company, he or she should call the Florida Attorney General’s fraud hotline at 1-866-9-NO-SCAM or file a complaint online at www.myfloridalegal.com. The complaint will be reviewed by the Attorney General’s Mortgage Fraud Task Force.
